Culminating four years of ancient meditation, this 98-minute tribute to the Sun was crafted exclusively during the brightest days, embodying a sun-infused spirit. 'Solarmegin' reflects the rugged, earthy gratitude for this distant fire sphere, with its music mirroring the jagged, natural imperfections found in all beings reliant on the Sun. This two-disc album, far from the polished shine of modern folk metal, harks back to the genre's primal roots. Bhleg's work is a vivid portrayal of folk metal's ancient, earthen essence, a reminder of its deep connection to age-old traditions and cultures.

"Inevitable, as the spreading twilight and turmoil when the blackness of winter swallows the sun, Swedish BHLEG's third full-length album ""Ödhin"" sweeps the world with icy winds and drowns it in the beautiful colours of the night. Enswathed in ancient Scandinavian wisdom, this blackened metal offering muses on the endtimes; the Norns' twines of fate have never resounded clearer or with more vigour.
With six epic tracks of pure channeling of forceful darkness, despair and mystery, ""Ödhin"" showcases both vicious outbursts of savagery, reflective moments of melancholy, and a primal strength with roots in all three worlds. With hypnotic waves of somber pathos, like the heavens coming apart and the very earth heaving and bursting aflame, BHLEG's wintry spells mesmerize us with a message as ancient as time - in the end, our fate shall come for us all."

Bhleg’s 2014 debut, “Draumr Ást”, is being issued on vinyl for the first time. The Swedish black metal duo is one of Nordvis’ longest-running artist collaborations, and their forest-scented sound is one which has since become synonymous with the label. “Draumr Ást” is strongly reminiscent of the gloomy woodland spirit of Ulver’s “Bergtatt”, but also shows traces of the predatory ferociousness found in “Nattens madrigal”. The hypnotic monotony permeating both the metal and ambient parts speak of a clear Burzum influence, and the mesmerising guitar tone weaves together a dreamlike, sonic tapestry which is occasionally enhanced by shamanic percussion.

The LP version of Draumr Ást, which was re-mastered by Tore Stjerna at Necromorbus Studio, comes with enhanced artwork, insert, and classic black vinyl.

Bhleg - Fäghring from 9,98 €

After the blackest night comes the most radiant dawn; the spark of life illuminates all that which was swallowed by shadows. “Fäghring” (Florescence) bears the gift of rebirth - both in nature and for Swedish folk metal band Bhleg. The fourth and closing part of the album tetralogy “Ár” is the most ambitious Bhleg recording to date. Its metal parts are saturated with both primal ferocity and majestic atmosphere. The ambient interludes from their early works are still here, but now conveyed mostly through analogue recordings.

The sweeping, dreamy soundscapes are enhanced by a slew of unorthodox instruments, courtesy of S - who performs not only guitars and bass, but also lyre, hurdy-gurdy, mouth harp, keyboards, bullroarer, birch trumpet, as well as percussion such as frame drums, birch sticks, and stones. Besides the characteristic voice of Bhleg vocalist and lyricist L, “Fäghring” features various guest appearances with a range of singing styles rooted in Scandinavian folk-tradition such as Andreas Pettersson from Saiva, Êlea of Noêta, and Swedish author Lars Magnar Enoksen.
